As we head into the week of November 18 to 24, things are starting to feel intense. This is
our second to last week before the final project is due and we’re officially in crunch time. We’ve moved past the early planning stages and now it’s all about polishing and finalizing Healing Currents so it’s ready for people to possibly experience if our project is chosen for Lights On Stratford.
This week, Veronique is taking the lead on internal testing and debugging. She’ll be going through our technical prototype with fresh eyes, testing the interaction flow, checking what needs tightening, and making sure everything runs smoothly after the feedback from our prototype presentation.
The rest of us will be working together on signage and all written materials. There’s a lot to finish up, including our reflection prompts for the installation, keeping our branding consistent, updating materials based on cultural feedback, and finalizing the instructions and any text the public will see.
On Instagram and Facebook, Chantelle will be creating this week’s posts with support from Zoey. These will highlight our progress and help build excitement, especially since there’s a chance the community could experience our project if we’re selected. Our remaining blog posts will be done by Chantelle and Zoey. These updates will cover what we’re working on and how we’re getting the project ready for the final version in case Healing Currents is chosen for the festival, and they will also share more about the significance behind our project and what Lights On Stratford is all about.
This week is all about tightening the last details and making sure our project reflects the calm, reflective atmosphere we’ve been aiming for. Everything is starting to come together and we’re ready to push through this final stretch!
